Josh Adams held the position of Managing Director of US Olympic Sailing and he has guided the team for the country as they have prepared themselves for several Olympic instances.

He has led the Paralympic as well as the Pan American teams as well, besides the US Sailing and the Youth Worlds team. Adam has provided his leadership for the teams in different instances, but he is vacating the position now.

Having led several teams of the US including the US Sailing Sperry team and the Youth Worlds team, Josh has provided his valuable leadership for about four years or more. Adam has also provided results during his period of leadership. The team at the Rio games this year won the bronze medal as well as a silver medal in the Paralympic games. There have even several wins recorded by Youth Worlds and at the Pan American games as well, whilst he was also the person who bought in Greece yacht charter team getaways to help boost team spirit.

The Olympic Development program was initiated by Adams which is a strategic plan for ten years that has seen an investment of seven million. The program is focused on development talents across the country as well as sustaining success that the country teams see in the sailing events of high performance levels.

Many people feel that Josh provided his valuable leadership skills in progressing the US Sailing team especially with their Olympic programs. It also helped prepare athletes to face different levels of competition at international events. Adams states that it was a difficult decision that he took up, but it is around his family life. He and his wife Sarah have two boys aged seven and nine. He wishes to be around them and hence, he would take up a position in the family business so that he can be home every day with his family from now on.
